BEING SMART COUNTS FOR VERY LITTLE IN LIFE.
Smart people will eventually realize that in the short term, their life span, it’s far better to be lucky than smart. To put it in other terms, it’s far smarter to be lucky than smart; and in so realizing that the smartest option is out of their control they realize how utterly stupid they truly are. The best they can hope for is being lucky by sheer hard work, being lucky through throwing so many days of their lives at something that luck finally strolls by. And in so doing they realize that the second smartest thing to be in this world is focused, patient, persistent, and very hardworking. Short term, being smart counts for very little in life.
And smart people will eventually realize that in the long term, there’s never been anything that any human has ever done that the Earth has taken notice of. Us humans place far too great an emphasis on ourselves, we have been here for a fraction of a second and we will only be here for another fraction of a second. Take global warming for example, it’s really a problem for humans and not the world in general; let’s say it kills all of us, the Earth couldn’t care less, in a few billion years it’ll recover. Long term, being smart counts for very little in life.
And finally smart people will eventually realize that if it’s only after that you understand what has come before, then you understand nothing. If you only understand something after the world has taught you to understand it then you never truly understood anything. All smart people gain knowledge after. Only geniuses understand what has come before – before it has come, only geniuses truly understand. And so once again, smart people realize their inherent everlasting stupidity and that to understand most things as how the world views understanding being smart counts far less than being focused, patient, persistent, and very hardworking.
